Heatilator

A division of Hearth and Home Technologies, Heatilator is by far the oldest company in the hearth industry that has been designing and developing the state of the art fireplaces. It first introduced the first ever heating system on the market in 1927 that was factory built and wood burning. From such introduction, the company name has rapidly become a household talk, with many people addressing Heatilator as the “first name in fireplaces”.

The Heatilator fireplaces are offered in three different types. The most popular is the line of gas fireplace inserts, which generally are crafted to fit every existing fireplace.

The Heatilator gas fireplace inserts are now available in two models. The first model is labeled under the name ADI60, and the other is under ADI-ZC-FB. The former model is a direct vent gas fireplace insert designed to fit a masonry type Heatilator fireplace. It was built with an elegant design appointed on the fireplace’s front face. This unit has been distributed and marketed throughout the United States in three sizes, and they come with an operable glass fireplace mesh door and a safety catch designed with attention to child’s safety and protection.

The ADI60 gas fireplace insert of Heatilator is also noted for its flame and ember which glow in the dark so beautifully and bright. This flame can distribute air and heat throughout a mid-sized room at a capacity of about 18,000 to 32,000 BTU per hour. As a unit crafted to offer the best warmth and comfort possible, the ADI60 gas fireplace insert comes with a 160-CFM fan, six logs that are hand painted, and a rose colored refractory effect visible through its conventional brick pattern.

The ADI-ZC-FB, on the other hand, is the gas fireplace insert that uses the so-called FireBrick technology. This technology is what allows the system to radiate the needed amount of heat into your room in just a short period of time. It is what also makes the unit highly efficient since it traps the heat on the firebox and hold it even after the system is turned off. In terms of design, the ADI-ZC-FB fireplace insert comes with a molder blower chamber and back design, then allowing the unit to fit directly even into an existing zero clearance fireplace. It is direct vent in style operating with a BTU rate of around 29,600.

Note that both the ADI60 and ADI-ZC-FB gas fireplace inserts of Heatilator are tested and listed under the UL Safety Standards. They come equipped with Heatilator gas fireplace blowers which work to distributed air to the room where a comfortable, warming heat is needed. They are even offered by Heatilator and its dealers with a limited lifetime warranty.

You can also find some added benefits of a well-designed and long lasting heating system by considering the other lines of Heatilator fireplaces – the wood burning and electric units.

The wood burning fireplaces offered by the company provides you the enjoyable and rewarding feeling brought by the cracking sounds and natural smell of firewood. There are about 13 models included in this line, each boasting a traditional fireplace quality that is truly worth the expense.

The electric fireplaces of Heatilator, finally, offer the easiest and quickest installation options possible. They are crafted with the automatic controls, allowing the operation truly simple. Four models are now listed under this line, and each boast a state of the art technology for added effects on quality.
